Research Workshop on Colonial History in the Amazon

The objective of the meeting, held on May 16, 2024 at the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences of Unicamp, was to stimulate research on colonial Amazonia. With a multidisciplinary approach, involving history, archeology and ethnology, the event sought to explore new perspectives and methodologies that can contribute to the understanding of the social, economic and environmental dynamics of the Amazon during the colonial period, promoting presentations of recent research and training sessions aimed at contributing to the formation of new researchers.
